Description
The foundation of great film and stage acting. Six weeks. One scene. One partner. Go beyond memorizing lines and learn how to truly live in a scene. You’ll develop your character, relationship, objectives and impulses while learning to make specific, grounded choices that bring your acting to life.
You’ll get:
Script & text analysis to uncover what’s really happening beneath the words
Character development, objectives, obstacles and relationships
Practical techniques rooted in Stanislavski and modern acting
Dynamic exercises to strengthen your instincts, presence and listening
Tools to get out of your head and into the moment
Practice making bold, specific choices and taking creative risks
A deeper understanding of what makes a performance feel truthful, connected and alive
A supportive, intimate environment with a maximum of 12 actors
