A self-tape isn't a test you pass or fail — it's a piece you direct. In this 4-week workshop, you'll learn to take full ownership of your audition: breaking down a script fast, making bold and specific choices, and building the technical control (frame, eyelines, connection with your reader) so the camera captures exactly what you intend it to. This is where craft meets camera. Recommended for actors with prior scene study experience.

A repeatable process for breaking down any audition script under time pressure
Technique for owning the room, even when the room is your living room
On-camera fundamentals: framing, eyelines, and connecting with a reader
Practice turning a generic scene into a specific, personal point of view
Direction on how to make a strong choice in the opening seconds, before you've even said a word
