script to screen - spring session - kelowna

“Thanks to Carly, our daughter booked her first BIG lead — we can’t recommend Born To Act Studios enough!” -Jennifer & Vale Cooper (Happy Face, I was Honey Boo Boo)

Stop second guessing auditions.

Start delivering cinematic, castable performances on-camera.

A 14-week on-camera acting program where serious actors create a cinematic demo reel and learn how to work with confidence in real industry conditions.

  • RED (Hollywood) camera demo shoot

  • Foundations, self-tapes, callbacks & on-set precision

  • Personal actor brand

  • limited to 12 actors

What is Script to Screen?

We start by stripping acting back to its fundamentals: listening, behavior, emotional truth, and intention, using techniques rooted in Strasberg, Meisner, Stanislavsky, and classic scene study, with a modern edge designed for on-camera performance.

From there, we move fully into film and television application. Actors train on camera through scene work, audition prep, and self-taping, learning how to adjust performance for the lens without losing power or specificity.

Over 14 weeks, actors build a strong on-camera foundation, gain confidence in their work, and apply it through mock callbacks, self-tapes, and scene study, culminating in a professionally run shoot day with a full crew and cinema camera, producing footage ready for your demo reel.

This program isn’t about “performing for the camera.” It’s about letting the camera catch your truth, your skills, your presence, your voice - so your work is ready to be seen, cast, and booked while honoring current industry standards.
