On-Camera Acting for Tweens & Teens

This fun and focused summer camp is perfect for young actors looking to sharpen their audition technique, master the technical craft of on-camera acting, and gain on-set acting technique. Whether you're coming from theatre or already working in film and TV, you'll walk away with stronger skills, greater confidence, and in class coached, filmed and edited footage for review.

Ages 10-17 (students paired up and taught accordingly. If your child is slightly younger, but eager, I’m happy to chat about participation).

You’ll Learn:
• How to break down film, TV, and commercial scripts like a pro
• What casting directors are really looking for in auditions and self-tapes
• How to stand out with bold, grounded choices and “alive stillness” on camera
• The technical side of on-set acting: lighting, eye-lines, blocking, and more
• How to identify your “type” — and how your character fits into a show's world
• The tone and style of local TV shows — and how to match your performance to the genre
